Abstract:
Language impairment constructs are not the province of one discipline, profession, political portfolio, service system or programme of research.
What brings different perspectives together is the shared purpose of improving language outcomes and life choices and opportunities for children with language impairments.
We will need to define and measure language impairments differently for different purposes and in ways that foster the exchange of knowledge.
