Abstract:
Our recent investigation into preterm births in Western Australia revealed that while the overall rates of preterm birth have remained fairly static over the last two decades,
inequalities between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal infants have increased, with the proportion of preterm births now almost twofold higher for Aboriginal infants (14.8%), compared to non-Aboriginal infants.
