She now works as a postdoctoral researcher at The Kids Research Institute Australia and UWA understanding the role of microbiome in health and disease. Her research interest is to develop microbiome-based therapeutics for normal skin barrier function which can be applied to solve several skin conditions in children including, underdeveloped preterm infant skin, dermatitis, impetigo, and wound healing. Dr. Ghori has presented her research at several local and international forums and has received awards for it.
