Comprised of Indigenous academics, clinicians, community partners and professional support services with a range of skills, experiences and expertise relevant to the IGC’s responsibilities, the IGC are the ultimate decision-making authority on STARFISH.

STARFISH projects are designed by STARFISH Investigators and Collaborators, where they are then presented to the STARFISH Science Forum (Chaired by Prof Asha Bowen). Following support from the Science Forum, the project is presented to the STARFISH IGC for consideration. A project must be endorsed by the STARFISH IGC in order to progress.
