Rebecca 'Bec' Young is a research assistant on the Early Neurodevelopment and Mental Health team at The Kids Research Institute Australia. She has clinical experience working as a child and adolescent mental health nurse and holds a Masters degree in Mental Health Nursing (specialising in child and adolescent mental health). After starting her own family, Bec worked with parents and caregivers in the early parenting sector before transitioning to research. She is passionate about all things infant and early childhood mental health.
