Jacob Stewart-Olsen joined The Kids Research Institute Australia in 2018 and has played a key role in overseeing the institute financial operations ever since.
Prior to joining The Kids, Jacob worked in Assurance Services for Ernst & Young Perth, during which time he supported the financial operations of St John of God Healthcare, Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and Linear Clinical Research. He therefore brings more than 10 years of sector experience in research financial management.
Passionate about innovative financial management to support social change, Jacob completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia, graduating with a Double Bachelor of Commerce & Arts majoring in Social Justice and Accounting. He then went on to complete a Post-Graduate Diploma with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ), where he maintains active membership.
Jacob is also a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. He is passionate about queer representation in leadership and ensuring all members of the rainbow community feel safe and supported in the workplace.
